Paris – Best Dinner Spots

I’ve been living in Paris 🇫🇷 for quite some time and trying to adjust to its endless restaurant scene which, let’s be honest, is a mix of incredible gems and very average spots wrapped in hype. Over time, I’ve learned what’s actually worth it! ⚜️ This is my edit of the best dinner places in Paris where the food delivers, the crowd is right, and the atmosphere (and interiors) make the whole experience. No tourist traps, just places I genuinely love and go back to. ✨

Hotel Costes

Hôtel Costes is my go-to spot in Paris, I probably end up here more than anywhere else. The menu is international, easy, and always hits, while the crowd is effortlessly cool and fun. The whole vibe feels like stepping into the John Wick Continental.

La Poule au Pot

La Poule au Pot is French classics at their best, perfectly prepared dishes that just works every time. Quite a heavy meal! And I would recommend it for a romantic date.

Sugaar

Real cool spot in Saint-Germain which is good for an intimate friend dinner. They have very good meat and the best red shrimp carpaccio!

La Rennoée

This restaurant from 1823 is one of the hardest reservations in town. It has the best martinis in Paris and the best burger. It blends french cousine with NY influences at its best and I would really recommend to try it.

Langosteria

Langosteria Paris has one of the best views over the Seine, with amazing Italian food that really delivers. There’s also a great bar for drinks, all set inside Cheval Blanc Paris, the newest and most luxurious hotel in the city.

L’Aperouse

L’Apérouse is a true Paris milestone, attracting plenty of celebrities and tourists, but still a fun and iconic spot worth trying at least once.

Saint Ambroeus

Sant Ambroeus Paris brings that NY-meets-Milan energy to Paris with classic Italian dishes done in a really elevated, polished way. The food is solid, but honestly the aesthetic is what makes it: super chic and beautifully designed!

Ferdi

Ferdi is hands down one of the best burgers in Paris, but you need to call ahead to reserve one because they always sell out. The vibe is fun with a bit of Mexican inspo in the menu, and everything is just insanely tasty and comforting in the best way.

Caviar Kaspia

Caviar Kaspia is a Paris institution, known for its iconic baked potato with caviar and effortlessly chic crowd: it’s delicious, a little over the top, but always a fun experience.

Akrame

Akrame is one of those Michelin spots in Paris that just gets it: super refined but still feels effortless and not too formal. The menu changes all the time, the flavors are really on point and with an Italian twist.

Le Flandrin

Le Flandrin is a chic, easy spot in the 16th with a loyal local crowd, serving classic French dishes done right in a relaxed but traditional and beautiful setting.

Maison Revka

Maison Revka is one of those places you go as much for the vibe as the food, with a very opulent, almost theatrical décor and a menu inspired by Russian cuisine. It’s fun, over the top, and always a scene.

Jaïs

Jais is a classic neighborhood spot in the 16th, known for its warm, old-school Parisian vibe and generous, well-executed French cuisine: it feels authentic, simple but with a luxurious twist, and always reliable.

Chez L’Ami Louis

Chez L’Ami Louis is a true Paris institution, famous for its ultra-generous portions and perfectly executed French classics.
